With their long, slender stems and dark velvet caps, Pioppino mushrooms bring a beautiful, rustic look to the kitchen. They have a fantastic, firm texture that holds up perfectly to high heat and offer a deep, nutty flavor with a subtle hint of black pepper.

Best gourmet use: Perfect for tossing into a hearty autumn risotto, sautéing into pasta sauces, or stir-frying where you want a bit of satisfying crunch.

True to their name, Chestnut mushrooms grow in dense, beautiful clusters of bright golden-brown caps covered in distinct little speckles. They boast a rich, earthy flavor profile and a delightfully crisp texture that doesn’t disappear during cooking.
